Liberal Democrats investigating Sheriff who enforces the law

Liberal democrats in congress requested a Department of Justice investigation into the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in Arizona because of their outstanding record of enforcing illegal immigration laws. In the eyes of liberals, it seems that they believe laws should only be enforced when they agree with them.
