Over 400 Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming
According to a US Senate report, over 400 prominent scientists "voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called 'consensus' on man-made global warming" in 2007. It's very unfortunate that prominent figures attempt to quash all scientific voices that don't match with their doomsday viewpoints. This is, of course, contrary to the Scientific Method of continually seeking more observable data to further test existing hypothesis.
Earlier this year, the UN IPCC chairman implied that there were only “about half a dozen” skeptical scientists left in the world and Al Gore claimed that scientists skeptical of climate change are akin to “flat Earth society members” and similar in number to those who “believe the moon landing was actually staged in a movie lot in Arizona.”
In case any of you are wondering what the scientific evidence shows about actually global warming, here it is. In the last 150 years, which covers the transition of the US and many other countries from agrarian societies to industrialized societies with the introduction of motor vehicles and mass air transport, the observed increase in the global mean temperature has been 0.8 degrees Celsius which is within the range of normal climate variation according to many scientists.
