Scientists create new plastic as strong as steel

I'm always interested in material science and engineers at the University of Michigan caught my attention by making a new plastic which has the strength of steel using common materials at room temperature. Traditionally, strong plastics like Kevlar involve high temperatures. This plastic was made layer by layer by dipping.
